Surf fishing is an exciting sport you can engage in especially if you love beach and water adventures or fishing in general. Trout fishing is an adventure and great sport for anyone. Trout fishing is getting more popular every year because it is fun and a wonderful way to spend a day. Trout fishing can be very accessible and inexpensive depending on the method and technique used.
Fly Fishing
Fly fishing can be very rewarding by being very close to your natural surroundings. Fly fishing is a very effective way to catch trout by imitating their naturally occurring food. It is not as expensive to get started as you might think. A few techniques include standard fly casting while on shore or wading and fishing from a boat or float tube.
When fly casting is impractical, flys can be cast with a spinning rod behind a plastic bubble quite effectively using a light spinning rod and reel.
The range of fly fishing opportunities ranges from the smallest pond to large rivers, anywhere trout may be found.
Lures
Small lures such as spinners, spoons, and plugs can be very effective for trout. There are a large number of lures designed to catch trout and the favorites vary by location.
